Not a sales brochure but the real format: what we found, what it costs or risks, and what we would do, in order of importance. This sample is based on a manufacturing company with 80 employees; the figures are illustrative.
Every real report is confidential, of course. This sample shows the form and depth.
| 23 licences of departed employees, still active | € 760 / mo |
| Duplicate backup and antivirus products next to Defender | € 430 / mo |
| 3 Azure servers on 24/7 for a nightly batch | € 610 / mo |
| MFA not enforced for 11 accounts, including 2 admins | Risk: high |
| Backup never restore-tested | Risk: high |
| Savings, without giving anything up | € 1,800 / mo |
During offboarding, accounts were blocked but licences were never released. Nobody noticed, because the invoice grew gradually.
Approach: Release the licences, and set up offboarding so this happens automatically. Immediate, structural saving.
Two separate products are running for something included in the existing Microsoft licence: Defender for Endpoint and the built-in backup capabilities.
Approach: Switch to what is already being paid for, and cancel the separate contracts at the next renewal date.
The servers do their work between 2:00 and 4:00 am, but run all day. A classic example of an environment migrated without redesign.
Approach: Start and stop automatically around the batch window. Pay for two hours instead of twenty-four.
Multi-factor authentication was on for most employees, but eleven accounts fell outside the policy, including two with admin rights. Exactly the accounts an attacker looks for.
Approach: Close the gaps in Conditional Access: no exceptions, not even “temporary” ones. The two admin accounts first.
Backups run neatly, but a restore has never been rehearsed. Whether a backup works, you only find out when you need it, and that is the wrong moment.
Approach: Run a restore test and repeat it yearly. With our managed services, that test is included as standard.
First the two admin accounts without MFA (days), then the restore test (weeks), then the three savings (at the next renewal and change moments). That is how the real report reads too: ordered by risk and effort, not by what earns us revenue.
The report gives facts, amounts and an order. It is not a quote: nowhere does it list one of our services as “the solution”. Often your own IT partner or IT person can pick up the points; the report is written so they can run with it directly. And sometimes the conclusion is: it is fine, leave it as it is.
The health check costs € 995, takes two weeks and only two hours of your own time — and ends with this report about your environment.
