This week Melle Nooien and Tijn Peeters started at Remarx. Both are second-year HBO-ICT students at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and will spend the coming period on a research internship at our office on Steenovenweg.
Why interns this early?
Remarx has existed since January. Even so, we are deliberately making room for students now. Doing research on real environments and real questions teaches more than a case study from a book. Brainport runs on exactly that exchange between education and business, and we want to contribute to it from the start.
What will they do?
A second-year internship at Fontys centres on a research assignment, not on joining the day-to-day work. Melle and Tijn take a question from our practice and work it out over the coming months, guided by Martijn and Remy. What the research is about and what comes out of it, we will share here once the results are in.
What does this mean for you?
Nothing changes in your service. Your environment remains the responsibility of the specialists you know. You may, however, run into Melle or Tijn at the office. Feel free to say hello.
